CCTV's 2019 Year of the Pig Spring Festival Gala will continue the tradition of the three Spring Festival Galas in 2016, 2017 and 2018. In addition to the main venue of CCTV Studio 1, there will be branch venues. Unlike previous years, the number of branch venues for the 2019 Spring Festival Gala has been reduced from four to three, namely: Jinggangshan City, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, and Changchun City, Jilin Province. The themes of the three sub-venues are: Jiangxi Jinggangshan - looking back and heading into a new era with head held high; Jilin Changchun (FAW) - striving to promote the revitalization of Northeast China and opening a new chapter in the era; Guangdong Shenzhen - the city of youth, fashion and technology in the future. The setting up of the three sub-venues of the "2019 Spring Festival Gala" reflects the ingenuity of the CCTV Spring Festival Gala creative team of China Central Radio and Television. The three sub-venues also showed from one side the great journey of New China from standing up, getting rich, and becoming strong. The director team strives to present an audio-visual feast with different charms and characteristics to the national audience and overseas Chinese audiences around the world on New Year's Eve, and jointly paint a picture of a happy holiday for the whole country.
