Anhui Province is located in East China, spanning the south and north of China. The Yangtze River and the Huaihe River divide Anhui into southern Anhui, central Anhui and northern Anhui. Huangshan stands proudly in the mountains of southern Anhui. The provincial capital Hefei is located in the center of the province. At the center, the Anhui-Beijing principle gave birth to China’s tens of billions of granaries.
