"Meet the Most Extreme China" consists of 7 episodes, each lasting 25 minutes. Each episode focuses on one of China's most extreme geographical and ecological units. From the world's second largest mobile desert, the Taklimakan Desert, to the world's largest glacier in the low- and mid-latitude zones, the Purogangri Glacier, from the world's largest and richest karst landform area, the Southern Karst of China, to the world's largest and deepest canyon, the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, from the world wonder of the parallel flow of rivers, the "Three Parallel Rivers", to China's northernmost extremely cold land, Genhe and Mohe, and China's northernmost sea of rivers converging, the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea, in the most typical seasons and the most critical moments, go deep into these unique natural homes, through the geographical beauty and wonders of life in the extreme places, to meet the most extreme China, and "build a beautiful home of harmony for all things". From February 1 to February 7, 2022, from the first to the seventh day of the Chinese New Year, it will be broadcast on CCTV-9 Documentary Channel at 8 pm every night.
