In the Jinguan Temple of Jisai Kingdom, the monks were in tattered clothes and looked sad. They told Tang Sanzang and his disciples about a grievance: after a bloody rain a few years ago, the Buddhist relic on the top of the pagoda in the temple disappeared without a trace. The monks were punished and suffered, and their grievances were hard to redress. In order to find out the reason for the loss of the treasure, Tang Sanzang devoutly took a broom and went into the pagoda with Wukong to sweep the treasure. At the top of the pagoda, Wukong captured a little demon and learned that the Buddhist treasure was taken to the bottom of the Bibotan Lake by the old dragon king Wansheng. Wukong and Bajie went into the lake, first with courtesy and then with force, and fought with the dragon king's daughter, Princess Naisheng, and the nine-headed insect prince consort. The white dragon horse turned into a young man, went into the lake to find Princess Naisheng, and tricked the Buddhist treasure back. The Buddhist treasure on the top of the Jinguan Temple shone again.
